Little Grocery is an educational game where kids learn to count money and give change in a friendly shop. First the child is the buyer: they see the price of an apple, bread or a teddy bear and fill the tray with coins (1, 2, 5, 10) and notes (20, 50) until the money matches the price exactly. Next they pick the cheapest item and add two prices in a basket. In the last levels they become the shopkeeper and hand back the right change. Seven levels, eight rounds each, up to three stars per level. It is play money only: no real currency, no betting.
The game builds addition and subtraction skills and place value (tens and ones), teaches children to compare numbers and find the best price, and prepares them to handle money confidently in everyday life.
What age is it for?
Roughly ages 4 to 10: the first levels use prices from 1 to 10, the last ones go up to 99 and include giving change.
Does the game use real money or purchases?
No. The coins and notes are drawn symbols for learning only, and there are no purchases or betting.
What happens when my child makes a mistake?
A gentle message says whether the amount is too little or too much so they can try again, and after three tries the correct answer is shown.
