الطرنيب لعبة ورق شعبية جدًا في بلاد الشام والعراق والخليج. تُلعب بأربعة لاعبين في فريقين بكامل الأوراق (52 ورقة)، ويأخذ كل لاعب 13 ورقة. تبدأ بالمزايدة على عدد الأكلات، ومن يربح المزايدة يختار الطرنيب أي النوع الأقوى. في سلّيني تلعب مع شريك ضد فريق الكمبيوتر، فتتعلم وتتدرب في أي وقت.
يعلّم الطرنيب التقدير والحساب والذاكرة والعمل الجماعي، ويدرّب على قراءة نوايا الشريك والخصم.
ما معنى الطرنيب؟
هو النوع الذي يختاره الفائز بالمزايدة ويصبح أقوى من باقي الأنواع.

يفوز الفريق الذي يصل للحد المحدد أولًا حسب القواعد الموضحة في اللعبة.
Tarneeb is a very popular card game in the Levant, Iraq and the Gulf. Four players in two teams use the full 52-card deck, and each player gets 13 cards. It starts with bidding on the number of tricks, and the winning bidder chooses the tarneeb, the trump suit. On Salleeny you play with a partner against a computer team, so you can learn and practise anytime.
Tarneeb teaches estimation, arithmetic, memory and teamwork, and practises reading what your partner and opponents are planning.
What does tarneeb mean?
It is the trump suit chosen by the winning bidder, stronger than all other suits.
How many points to win?
The first team to reach the target score shown in the game wins.
